I don’t think I have talked about Boston yet, but they are a pretty good band. They have a couple good songs, pretty long ones though. This one has a lot of instrumental parts, but at least it sounds somewhat ok. The lyrics are pretty calm, and it goes well with the music. The start is probably the best part, the rest is just ok.

Blog 59: Touch Me
A really good song by The Doors. The beat is good, it sounds oldish, but it is pretty good. The lyrics are good, although it does tend to repeat itself every now and then. The final part is really good as an instrumental piece, and it gets pretty crazy near the end. Sadly, I don’t care for any other songs from The Doors really, so this will be the only one.
Blog 58: Africa
Come on, I gotta talk about this one. It’s the perfect meme song, and it is pretty good as a normal song. Memes aside, super good and is definitely and 80s song. Even though this one came out early 80s, it definitely shows how other songs were affected by this one. Also it is used in a ton of movies, so I just had to talk about this one.
Blog 57: Who Can it be Now?
Here is the second song by Men at Work. Super weird, but their other one was weird so, what was I expecting? Actually though, this song is really good, even though it repeats a bit. Even though it repeats, at least the lyrics are catchy. I think I would rank this one higher than the first song I talked about.
Blog 56: Down Under
Very weird song, very weird. The song itself is good, it’s just the lyrics are odd. It’s obvious that they are talking about Australia, but the song in general is really odd. Some of their other songs are like that, and I think I am going to talk about another good song of theirs next. Besides being confusing, the song itself is really good.
Blog 55: Whip It – Music Video
Gonna be completely honest here, probably one of the most hilarious music videos ever. Please do me a favor and look up the video right now. I don’t know who thought the traffic cone hats was a good idea, but it is so perfect. It isn’t even just the hats, the whole costume in general is hilarious. The video itself is funny, especially when they get the whip and start hitting stuff.
Blog 54: Whip It
Really really good song right here. The beat is great, and the speed is super well-paced. The lyrics repeat a lot, but at least they sound pretty good and go perfectly with the beat. I think I might talk about the music video because it is hilarious.
Bloggy 53: Good Times Roll
Just realised that I have never talked about The Cars yet. The Cars is a very interesting band. It might just be the instruments they use, but the synthesizers give them a special feel. I forgot a lot about this song, but this is mostly a way for me to talk about them. Also this song is pretty good.
Blog 52: Gary’s Song
Come on, how could I not talk about this song. If you know how I really am, you know I’m always down for a good SpongeBob song. When it comes to SpongeBob songs, probably top five or six. I think it perfectly captures the sorrow SpongeBob faced from Gary running away. That, and the fact that the song is funny.
Blog 51: You Can Call Me Al
Bringing it back to the oldeys! Good song, but it is long for being made in the 80s, but you can never tell. I remember watching a video about how this song is actually about something super depressing, I forgot what it was exactly, but it doesn’t change much. Why is it that a lot of these old songs have depressing meanings? Like it’s obvious that not all of them are so sad, but it’s like calm down man.
